About us

Our Story

We moved to Turkey in 2013 with a simple yes to Jesus and a deep sense that discipleship was meant to be lived, not just preached. What began as a step of obedience has grown into a life rooted here — we started our family in Turkey, are raising our children in this culture, and have committed ourselves to loving this land and its people for the long haul.

Our vision is not centered on a program or a season of ministry, but on wholehearted discipleship. Jesus invites us to lay down our lives, to follow Him wherever He leads, and to be known as His disciples by our love for one another. For us, that has meant choosing presence over comfort, family over success, and faithfulness over efficiency. Discipleship happens best in the context of real life — shared meals, shared work, shared suffering, and shared joy. We believe people are formed not from a stage or program, but around a table.

Over the years, this vision has taken shape through business as mission. We have built a locally rooted business that employs local men and women, values dignity and excellence, and creates daily, relational opportunities to live out the gospel. Our work allows us to invest in people over time, serve the local church, and demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways within the community. We believe work is sacred, and that the Kingdom of God advances powerfully when faith, family, and vocation are woven together.

The name Dwell comes from Psalm 91 — “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Serving in places that can be resistant or hostile to the gospel requires more than zeal; it requires abiding. Our confidence is not in strategy, but in remaining with Him in the secret place, trusting that from that place He produces fruit, resilience, and love.

We are inviting others who sense a calling to the Middle East — not just to go, but to stay, learn, serve, and build. Calling alone isn’t enough. We are committed to equipping people holistically: biblically, emotionally, and culturally. Through our life-on-life internship, hands-on training in business, shared community, and work alongside locals, we create an “on-ramp” for those discerning long-term missions, business as mission, or cross-cultural discipleship.

Our prayer echoes Acts 13 — that as we worship, fast, and seek the Lord together, He would speak, send, and unite hearts across cultures and nations. We believe God is at work in this region, fulfilling His promise in Isaiah 19; to make Egypt, Assyria, and Israel a holy highway, a blessing together on the earth. We are honored to be one small part of what He is doing.

If you are longing for a life that is poured out, rooted in family, formed through community, and anchored in deep friendship with Jesus — we invite you to dwell with us.
